I'm Baaaaaaack... It's been a bit of a wild ride these last ten weeks and I wasn't even sure whether or not to keep doing the Monday Musings but I had a bit of a kick up the arse one way or another with regards to a few things and so here I am ha ha, invading your week once again. Besides, the Halloween Oracle by Stacey Demarco is a fantastic little deck and only gets to come out to play once a year; who am I to deprive it of its joy? So, what will this week bring to you? Monthly forecast? Weekly forecast? Daily forecast? It's up to you, you know the drill! Pick the one that calls to you, then read the reveal in the comments for a mini-reading for the week ahead, or read them all as a story-telling spread. Your reading, Your call. I'm just the messenger.. I'm still offering private readings, too, so if you want to know a little more about what the universe has in store for you, hit me up. "I'm here to help." LEFT: Dawn If this is your card for the upcoming week, it's telling you that it's time for a fresh start. Now, take this with a bit of a grain of salt, for we're on a waning Moon and gearing up for Mercury wrecktrograde. This may sound like a bit of a contradiction, but it really isn't. All those plans that you have put on the back burner? Now is the time to drag them out and to review and revise them, tweak and tickle them, and start getting them ready to launch. You're soon going to be entering into the time of newness, but for now—just like the dawn that this card represents—it's time to open your eyes and see what needs to be done, so that you can begin your new venture with clarity and light. MIDDLE: Werewolf Wildness? Experience wildness? Wadafuq that mean? Well, if you chose this card for the week ahead, it's asking you to let your hair down a bit. Maybe you've been a bit too reserved, a bit too focused on what someone else might think, a bit too concerned for the opinions of others. Here's the thing; if you know anything about werewolf lore, you'll know that the man fights the change for as long as he can, but the change is inevitable, and he sooner or later has to yield to the evolution and go with the flow. The change is triggered by the light of the full Moon; maybe it's time you let in the light! If you've been struggling with something, trying to make it fit, it's time to stop. Let it be what it's meant to be. Let it change you the way that you were meant to change. After all, change is the only constant in the universe. Let the vitality of this changing energy bring you the freedom your soul seeks. RIGHT: Winter
Yeah, we all know that winter's coming, it's all the cycle of change, and it's interesting how this has come up twice—three times if you consider that starting something new is also a part of change. The winter card is telling you to lay down what is dying, to surrender what no longer works, and if this is the card you have selected then it's time to exhale and let go. Anything that no longer serves a purpose in your life—whether it's an emotional burden, an outdated philosophy, a worrying or stressful situation, or physical clutter in your home—it's time to purge. Just like the trees allow the winter winds to strip them bare so that they can start anew in spring, it is time to allow yourself to be stripped of what is not empowering you, so that you can open yourself to be filled with all things new. |
